HabiStat Leopard Gecko Bedding is a naturalistic substrate developed to recreate the dry, mountainous woodland environments associated with Leopard Geckos in the wild.
The blend combines sand, clay and soils to provide a secure surface for movement and gripping. Its texture also supports natural behaviours such as digging and burrowing.
The substrate is supplied pre-hydrated and ready to use. This can provide a temporary humidity boost after the bedding is added and helps create areas with different moisture levels within the enclosure.
Spread the substrate evenly across the enclosure base to a depth of approximately 5–7.5 cm. Avoid overfilling when using underfloor heating, spot clean daily and refresh or replace the substrate when required.
Always ensure that the substrate depth, heating, humidity and complete enclosure setup are suitable for the individual animal.
