HabiStat Bearded Dragon Bedding is a naturalistic blend of red sand and clay developed to recreate the sandy soils found in the arid Australian outback.
The substrate provides a natural surface for digging, thermoregulation and open-area basking. It is supplied pre-hydrated and ready to use, so humidity may temporarily increase after it is added to the enclosure.
Spread the substrate evenly to a depth of approximately 5–7.5 cm. Avoid overfilling the enclosure when using underfloor heating, spot clean daily and refresh or replace the substrate when required.
Always check that the substrate depth, heating, ventilation and complete enclosure setup are suitable for the individual animal.
