Coco Plug Premium Coconut Chips is a natural coconut shell substrate for reptile and exotic pet enclosures. The finer 6–10 mm chip size gives a softer, more compact bedding layer while still helping with moisture retention in suitable setups.
The substrate is made from organic coconut material and is triple washed to help reduce dust and impurities. It offers good odour absorption and can help maintain humidity where a moisture-retaining substrate is required.
After preparation, the compressed 4.5 kg block expands to approximately 55–65 litres of usable substrate, depending on the amount of water used and how it is prepared.
Always choose substrate based on the species, enclosure type and husbandry requirements of the animal. Some reptiles may require drier, finer or more specialised bedding depending on their care needs.
